The 23-day long festival will impressively feature 63 talented Queensland companies and employ over 1000 local artists – that’s got to be good news.

The first stage and much-anticipated adaption of Brisbane based novel,Boy Swallows Universe. Trent Dalton’s popular and award-winning debut book will be brought to life explores love, family, criminality and what it means to be a good man while growing up as a boy in Brisbane.
Musical performances by Channel Nine presenter David Campbell, get loud with the dynamic noise of WAXX and the serene beauty of Kate Miller Heidke.
BOQ Festival Garden at Southbank Piazza with circus, cabaret and performances
Brisbane Festival venues are scattered across the city and include The Tivoli, Southbank, the Brisbane Powerhouse and more.
After all of that fun, the festival will end with a bang with the community favourite – the Sunsuper Riverfire fireworks and aeronautical extravaganza as fireworks set to a musical score light up the River city.
