Bardon’s Rainworth General Store has a new lease on life with the arrival of Goodfolk Cafe into its storied walls. Keeping all the charm of the old building with plenty of exposed timber and greenery, the cafe has brought even more character to the space—and that’s before you start perusing the menu.

A fresh and flavoursome list of eats that makes use of local produce includes the likes of chickpea breakfast curry with coconut yoghurt and poached eggs, a roast vegetable filled breakfast bowl and sourdough French toast with housemade lemon curd. Meanwhile, coffee comes from the general stores previous resident, Neighbourhood Coffee Roasters.
