By George Hadgelias

In celebration of the 95th anniversary of Sherwood Arboretum, take a guided walk at one of Brisbane’s living treasures, Sherwood Arboretum containing over 1,000 trees. Sherwood Arboretum established in 1925 is Brisbane’s only botanical garden dedicated exclusively to growing Australian native trees. The arboretum holds scientific and cultural values with the many of the original plantings undertaken by prominent citizens of Brisbane.

The gentle, 1-hour guided walked will be led by the Volunteer Guides of the Brisbane Botanic Gardens and the Friends of Sherwood Arboretum, followed by morning tea. The guided walk is free. A$5 donation is required for the morning tea.

Location: Meet at the main car park off Jolimont Street.
