Milton Markets

By George Hadgelias

The Red Hill Farmers Markets have found a new home, re-opening as the Milton Markets. After five months of planning and coordinating, the new site at Cribb Street, Milton was selected due to its improved facilities, undercover parking and public transport access. Milton Markets is a hub of fresh produce, delicious street food and craft stalls. With a focus on fresh farm-direct goods from Southeast Queensland and Northern New South Wales, the markets boast some of the best produce, foodstuffs, handmade items and market provisions by passionate producers, growers, farmers, painters, cooks, chefs, bakers, fishmongers, butchers, baristas, juicers, and all those with a skill, hobby or passion! Those shopping with an appetite will be able to much on grub from unique gourmet foods stalls (not yet seen at other markets!) and sip on fresh juices and hot coffee. Entry and parking is free, with plenty of entertainment for kids including horse rides and jumping castles as well as live entertainment and taste testing for adults. The Milton Markets are on every Sunday from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm.
