Paddington Halloween

By George Hadgelias

Paddington Halloween is a community event for families. It’s a great chance to meet your neighbours!

Trick-or-Treat

Trick or Treat is a self-guided walk with your friends and family to participating houses to show off your costumes and collect a lolly (candy) from the householder. Look for the orange pumpkins, or decorations for participating trick or treat houses.  Each year we drop a letter into our neighbours to ask for their participation. We strive to provide a safe environment where children are welcome to take part in this fun tradition. Participation in trick or treat and the haunted house is undertaken at your own risk. See the list of participating houses (decorations I have seen) on the Trick-or-Treat page.

Haunted House

Built in our garage as a walk-through experience, the Haunted Houseis continuing in 2025!

The walk-through experience is for kids – however, they should be a little more robust and probably over the age of 5 to give you a guide. (Parents are very welcome to walk through and check it out first!) For the younger or more sensitive kids, we also have a child-friendly display on our veranda and at the front of our house. All neighbours and their friends are welcome.
Costumes are encouraged if you’re trick or treating, and they don’t need to be scary – you can wear whatever you like. Remember to bring your bag to collect your lollies!

Bring a gold coin donation for entry into the Haunted House

Paddington Halloween raises money for charity and all proceeds from the donations on the door of the haunted house will go to our chosen charity. We will have card facilities at the door for donations.
