Where We Live: An Exhibition by Michael Cawdrey

By George Hadgelias

“With all the difficulty around the world, I found myself moving away from the negativity. I have been determined to use this time to improve my work. My aim has been to channel this energy into my paintings for my viewers, with a wish that we all emerge stronger together.”

This October, Aspire Gallery is proud to host Where We Live – the 2020 solo exhibition of award-winning Brisbane artist, Michael Cawdrey. Born in England but residing in Queensland since 1966, Michael’s subject matter includes landscapes, seascapes and street scenes. He is also well-known for his ability to portray the human figure.

Exhibition Dates: October 9–31, Fridays & Saturdays 10:30 am to 4:30 pm (or otherwise by appointment)
