Young Gun of Wine

By George Hadgelias

For the first time in 13 annual editions of Young Gun of Wine, Australia’s most exciting wine showcase of new talent comes to Brisbane.

Don’t miss this outdoor Saturday night event at the iconic Brisbane Powerhouse, as more than 20 winemakers pour their wares over the course of this three hour wine tasting party. Guests will be able to purchase a selection of favourite Italian eats as the team from Bar Alto will also be there, offering fine pizzas, arancini, and a range of antipasti.

Established in 2007, the Young Gun of Wine searches for, showcases and celebrates Australia’s young wine talent. This search starts with UNCUT, an up close and unfiltered look at the freshest wines and winemaking in Australia. UNCUT is the place to spot the best new talent and trends in wine.

Young Gun of Wine is recognised as an incubator for emerging talent by industry leaders, with its annual top winemaker lists reading like a who’s who of the contemporary wine scene.

Tickets are $65 and include all wine tasting and a Riedel crystal wineglass. Places are strictly limited, so grab your tickets now to avoid missing out!
